Join us on Saturday, March 15th for an exclusive private guided tour of the remarkable Lillie P. Bliss and the Birth of the Modern exhibit at the MoMA that explores the lasting impact of one of modern art’s most influential (but often forgotten) patrons.

Lillie P. Bliss played a pivotal role in shaping The Museum of Modern Art as a co-founder, advocating for modern artists at a time when their work was often dismissed. This exhibition showcases 40 works from her personal collection, including pieces by Paul Cézanne, Odilon Redon, Georges-Pierre Seurat, and Pablo Picasso. Her generous contributions helped establish MoMA’s foundation, even making it possible to acquire Vincent van Gogh’s The Starry Night.

This event offers a unique opportunity to explore the exhibition guided by one of the MOMA’s knowledgeable art historian guides, gaining deeper insight into Bliss’s vision and the evolution of modern art.
