Creative Discovery Experiences

Gather a group of friends, family or co-workers and come together in-person or online to connect through your innate creativity.

What?

We help social groups and corporate teams connect to — and through — the arts.

Our interactive team building experiences and workshops are designed to help participants better understand and appreciate the arts while also expanding their own capacity for creative thinking, joy and fulfillment.

Why?

Art is a universal language that brings out great conversation and naturally builds community & camaraderie.

Art encourages people to push their boundaries, discover new perspectives and more deeply understand themselves as well as the world around them.

Art helps us see the beauty & wonder that exists all around us.

Creative Connection Lessons & Discovery Hunts

Help your group or team fall in love with and discover the beauty & magic of art museums!

Our Creative Connection Lessons help even those who have never set foot in an art museum find enjoyment in the experience. Rather than a traditional art history lecture or tour, we help attendees connect more deeply to the art by helping the to see it in new ways and use it as a way to relate to themselves and to one another. We explore in small groups in order to have curated conversations that bridge gaps in understanding and make the museum experience more memorable, impactful and personal.

Our Art-full Discovery Hunts can be added on to a Creative Connection Lesson, or be done separately. We encourage participants to bring their own interpretations and reactions to the work for a more customized experience. Groups can separate into teams for some friendly competition or partner up to create their own art inspired by what they experienced. All are customizable and can be held at art museums and institutions anywhere in NYC.

A wonderful way of learning about the history, street art, art galleries, architecture, food vendors and more in a gem part of manhattan all while walking, talking, eating, listening, looking and feeling so alive in the most dynamic city of the world!
— Aly, Paralegal (frequent Art-full Discovery walk attendee)

In-House or Online Workshops

Creative thinking, defined as “the mental processes leading to a new invention, solution, or synthesis in any area,” is identified as one of the most valued and sought-after skills in employees — and yet, most people find it difficult to tap into their natural capacity for creative expression. Our 60-90 minute workshops help participants re-connect to their innate creativity , while also learning how to better understand and experience the arts

Connecting Through Creativity

This interactive workshop is designed to help even the most left brain oriented people tap into and unearth their innate capacity for creative thinking in order to bring their natural ingenuity to the surface, both at work and at home.

Process: Attendees will be led through a series of participatory exercises to help them tap into their unique inner essence— learning how to better trust, express and assert their creative voice.

Outcome: By the end of the workshop, attendees will feel more calm, confident and connected both to themselves and to their coworkers— and better equipped to excel both professionally and personally.

Art Appreciation for the Rest of Us

Did you know that you can enjoy art without ever having taken an art class or studied art history? Art is truly meant to be enjoyed by all, and this workshop will help even those with little to no previous knowledge fall in love with the arts.

Process: Participants will get a quick art history primer along with an intro to the Contemporary art market, learning the difference between art galleries and museums, the major players, and how to enjoy an art fair.

Outcome: By the end of the workshop, attendees will have learned how to best appreciate art and five keys for maximizing any art-based experience. They will also walk away with tips to discover their personal art persona.
