5th Annual Miami Art Week(end) of Culture | Dec 4th-7th (activities only)

Imagine blue skies, palm trees, beautiful beaches — and ART — all together in one! That's what Miami Art Week is all about.

We’ve had the time of our lives at Miami art week for the past three years, and this year’s trip includes some of the ‘best hits’ from our previous trips — but is sure to be even better!

Centered around North America’s biggest contemporary art fair, Art Basel Miami, the entire city of Miami transforms into a canvas for ephemeral installations and art happenings, and museums and private collections display their most impressive exhibits for 1 week/year only.

And while this annual celebration of the arts can feel daunting for the uninitiated, each year we have curate a three-night weekend of art-full bliss with the perfect mix of art fairs, museums and free time to explore the city and its wealth of culture — plus the opportunity to share your experiences and impressions with new friends and old over delicious group brunches and dinners.

This year’s itinerary is still in formation, but will include tickets to Art Basel Miami, SCOPE and the Untitled fair, delicious group dinners at some of Miami’s best restaurants, and of course, time to enjoy the beach and hotel pool!

FAQ's

1. Can I book my own hotel/stay separately from the group?

Since the trip is designed as community-based travel, our goal is to keep all attendees together in one hotel so that we can experience Miami together as a group. Though of course there is free time built into the itinerary for you to experience the city on your own if desired.

2. What is NOT included in the cost of the 3-night trip?

All meals, transportation (to/from Miami as well as in Miami), as well as any additional activities or rideshare services, are separate and must be paid individually. You should estimate around $20/day on Uber and at least $50+ per day to spend on food/drinks.

3. What if I don’t know anyone — do I need to come with a friend?

No! Most women attend out Weekend of Culture trips on their own, and the idea is that we will all get to know one another over the course of the weekend. However, please do let me know if you are coming with a friend with whom you would like to share a room.

4. Do I have to stay with the group/attend all pre-planned activities on the itinerary?

All attendees are expected to attend the scheduled group activities unless the group leader is given advance notice, or in the event of sickness or an emergency. No refunds can be provided for any of the included activities not attended. Please remember this a group trip designed for the community to experience Art Basel together. Please do NOT book the trip if you prefer to do your own thing or are not aligned with the proposed itinerary.
