Join us on Thursday May 7th, when we will be exploring the concept of the blues through the work of Pablo Picasso, using his Blue Period as a way to better understand and embrace the blues so many of us are feeling as a result of the COVID-19 crisis.
According to Career & Leadership coach, Michelle Perchuk, "masterpieces are usually created during the blue period, when we are the most authentic with our emotions." After an exploration of the works from Picasso's blue period, Michelle will lead us in a discussion on how to embrace and use the blues to fuel productivity. "This is the time to practice self-love, self-care, learn new things, practice slowing down, meditating, and to re-evaluate values and goals," she says.
This interactive, community-oriented discussion is being offered by donation, as a service to the Women of Culture community. We encourage dialogue and discussion but do not require you to share if you do not wish to. The goal is to provide a safe space in which we can all express and explore our current feelings, while also taking some cues from the work of one of the greatest artists of all time.
All registrants will receive a zoom link as well as a recording after the session ends. Advance registration required here.
