Art of Empowerment Workshop at the Meadow DUMBO
- The meadow 147 Front Street Brooklyn, NY, 11201 United States (map)
Amidst today’s intense political climate, we believe that art has the power to heal, empower, and drive change.
In collaboration with the Meadow DUMBO, join us for an inspiring afternoon where creativity and advocacy come together, offering a space for self-expression, resilience, and collective action.
Together, we’ll explore how artists throughout history have addressed social and political injustices through their work. Then, with the variety of art supplies provided, you’ll create your own Piece of Empowerment—whether it's a collage, flag, banner, vision board, protest sign, or any artistic expression that moves you.
As you create, you’ll gain valuable information about your rights and the protections against race and gender discrimination, and learn how to navigate immigration and customs enforcement to safeguard yourself and support your community.
Let’s come together to craft art that heals, builds strength, and amplifies our voices. Join us for an afternoon of creativity, resistance, and community - working together for positive change!
All tickets include:
