What better way to spend a Thursday than with a night of both art and ballet!? Join us on February 27th when we head to the New York City Ballet’s Art Series, plus delicious food & drinks at Rosa Mexicano before the show.

The aim of the NYCB Art Series is to cross-pollinate the disciplines of performing and visual arts – and their audiences – by annually inviting a contemporary artist to create a site specific work of art in our Lincoln Center home. This year’s featured artists is Lauren Redniss, who is the author of several books of visual non-fiction and was the recipient of a 2016 MacArthur Foundation “genius grant.” Her installation at the Koch theater will create a 360-degree panorama of portraits depicting more than 100 people who work at New York City Ballet.

We will be seeing the ‘Classic NYCB II’ program which features a mix of old and new works including a jazzy Jerome Robbins classic with costumes by Erte, a world premiere by Justin Peck to the music of Nico Muhly, and the high energy DGV: Danse a Grande Vitesse by Christopher Wheeldon.

All tickets include a seat with the group in row E of the first ring. Full experience tickets include shared appetizers and 1 cocktail/beer or wine at Rosa Mexicano before the show (additional food/drink can be purchased and paid separately on-site).

Show-only tickets: $55 through 2/13 at midnight; $65 thereafter
Full experience tickets: $95 through 2/13 at midnight; $105 thereafter
