It's been two years since we gathered for Frieze LA, right before the pandemic brought the world came to a halt — but we're finally back and hosting the first LA-based Women of Culture event since 2020!
On Sunday February 20th, you're invited to join Women of Culture LA to immerse yourself in the best of the contemporary art world when we head to the Felix Art Fair at the glamorous Hollywood Roosevelt hotel — plus a delicious brunch on what Eater calls “Hollywood’s most beloved patio” water fountain and all." (Farley Elliott, Oct 2021) at Superba Hollywood beforehand.
Felix is a contemporary art fair featuring an international roster of 60 galleries occupying both the poolside cabanas and two Tower floors, providing a comfortable and safe indoor/outdoor environment. We will have a self-guided visit, with the option to gather for brunch beforehand and/or drinks by the David Hockney pool after exploring.
"While in-person events may have slowed, creativity certainly has not, and the prolific artistic offerings at Felix Art Fair are evidence enough,"wrote CULTURED magazine of Felix's last fair (Felix Art Fair Proves Creativity Flourishes In the City of Angels, July 2021).
All tickets include entry to the fair. Full experience tickets also include 1 entree + 1 non-alcoholic beverage, tax & tip at brunch (all additional food or drink can be ordered & paid separately at the restaurant. Poolside drinks at the fair are not included in any of the ticket prices.
Please note the fair/hotel is a 15 minute walk or approximately 5 minute drive from the restaurant (we will plan to walk together as a group but anyone who prefers to drive can re-join us at the fair entrance). The art fair/hotel offers valet parking for $16/hour.
