A Warm Welcome to the City of Light

Your adventure begins the moment you arrive at Charles de Gaulle Airport, where our private transfer service will ensure a smooth and comfortable journey to your accommodation. You'll be staying at the elegant Hôtel Bleu de Grenelle*, or an equivalent 4-star hotel strategically located near the Eiffel Tower.

On your first evening, we invite you to a jazzy dinner cruise on the Seine River, a quintessentially Parisian experience that sets the perfect tone for your trip. As you glide along the Seine, taking in the city's iconic landmarks illuminated against the night sky, you’ll be treated to a gourmet dinner prepared by the chefs of Maxim-de-Paris. With live piano music providing a soothing backdrop, this cruise offers a unique blend of fine dining and stunning views, ensuring a memorable start to your Parisian adventure.

Exclusive Cultural Experiences

Each morning begins with a hearty breakfast at the hotel, featuring a variety of fresh and organic options to fuel your day. Your first full day includes a fascinating walking tour that highlights the great women who have shaped French history. This tour offers a deep dive into the contributions of these remarkable women, taking you through landmarks like the Luxembourg Gardens, the Latin Quarter, and the Panthéon.

You’ll also have a private guided tour of the Musée d'Orsay where you can marvel at the works of Monet, Manet, Degas, and Van Gogh, among others, as your expert guide offers expert commentary on the history and significance of these stunning pieces, as well as the street art of Montmartre, one of Paris’ most cutting edge and artsy neighborhoods.

Art Basel Paris: A Celebration of Contemporary Art

On Friday, you head to the main attraction: Art Basel Paris, where over 150 galleries presenting an eclectic mix of works from established and emerging artists take over the stunning, newly renovated Grand Palais. This prestigious art fair is a hub for art lovers, collectors, and industry professionals, providing a unique opportunity to view and purchase some of the finest artworks on the market. Explore at your own pace and we’ll re-gather for dinner and the option to enjoy an authentic Parisian cabaret in the evening.

Leisurely Exploration and Local Flavors

In addition to the structured activities, ample free time is built into the itinerary, allowing you to explore Paris at your own pace. Discover the trendy boutiques, galleries, and cafes in the Le Marais district, stroll along the Left Bank or head to Notre Dame on your own time, re-joining the group for carefully curated group meals.

FAQ's

1. Can I book my own hotel?

Yes, you can book the activities/tours only option and join the group for all other events (meals, etc).

2. What is NOT included in the cost of the 3-night trip?

All meals, aside from breakfast at the hotel, transportation (to/from Paris as well as in Paris), as well as any additional activities or rideshare services, are separate and must be paid individually. You should estimate around $20/day on Uber and at least $50+ per day to spend on food/drinks.

3. What if I don’t know anyone — do I need to come with a friend?

No! Most women attend our trips on their own, and the idea is that we will all get to know one another over the course of the weekend. However, please do let me know if you are coming with a friend with whom you would like to share a room.

4. Do I have to stay with the group/attend all pre-planned activities on the itinerary?

All attendees are expected to attend the scheduled group activities unless the group leader is given advance notice, or in the event of sickness or an emergency. No refunds can be provided for any of the included activities not attended. Please remember this a group trip designed for the community to experience Art Basel together. Please do NOT book the trip if you prefer to do your own thing or are not aligned with the proposed itinerary.

5. Why is the hotel not guaranteed?

We need a final headcount in order to guarantee the hotel and price so another, similar hotel may be selected if Hotel Bleu de Grenelle ends up not being available. But rest assured, hotel will be of the same quality and in a similar location.

6. By when do I need to sign up?

You must submit a minimum of a 10% deposit by July 23rd in order to guarantee a spot on the trip. The remainder of the trip will be charged 90 days in advance and there are also payment plans available. See the booking page here for more info - as well as the refund policy here.
