WoC Discount: Limited Edition Screen Prints by Ellen de Meijer

For the first time ever, Dutch contemporary artist, Ellen de Meijer, renowned for her meticulously executed paintings, has released limited edition screen prints - and we’re being offered an exclusive discount!

De Meijer’s cutting edge art seeks to “address the vulgar lipstick of society” in a world where, according to the artist, we are all trapped by the confines of harmful societal expectations.

De Meijer paints portraits of modern-day archetypes, each one simultaneously representing aggressor and victim, as she explores themes of coldness, power, resistance, and status.

The artist usually only produces 4-5 paintings annually, but her new limited edition screen prints provide a unique opportunity for emerging art collectors to buy her work at a significantly lower price point. The prints are based on her work from 2011-2021, much of which has been shown in museums, auctions, and major art fairs all over the world, selling for prices up to $45,000 due to growing demand for her work.

Some may remember that Women of Culture actually held an event in honor of de Meijer’s show at the Unix Gallery back in 2019, at which the artist spoke about her commitment to environmental activism.

Whether or not you were able to attend that event, we encourage you to take advantage of the 20% discount on these beautiful limited edition prints before they’re gone.

You can read more about her work here and purchase the prints here with code WOC20OFF.
