Start your Saturday with art, conversation, and an intimate look at two standout female artist exhibits at de boer gallery!
On Saturday, March 28, Art-full Angelenos are invited to join us for an intimate gallery breakfast and curator-led walkthrough of Altar Ego and Tan Solo un Rumor de Fondo.
Though distinct in material and conceptual approach, both exhibitions explore themes of identity, memory, and cultural narrative.
In Altar Ego, Layo Bright creates sculptural forms that evoke ritual, remembrance, and material vulnerability. In Tan Solo un Rumor de Fondo, Melissa Ríos presents layered paintings in which images emerge, dissolve, and shift in meaning.
Over coffee and a light breakfast, guests will experience the exhibitions together and gain deeper insight into the artists’ practices as well as the gallery’s curatorial vision. We hope you’ll join us for a morning of conversation, close looking, and community.
A few reasons to attend:
Exclusive insights: Gain behind-the-scenes perspectives on the artists, their work, and creative processes.
Meaningful connection: Meet fellow art lovers, collectors, and patrons over a relaxed breakfast and engaging conversation.
A chance to discover: Experience two rising voices in the contemporary art world whose latest exhibitions are not to be missed.
