Join us on Saturday, November 14th for an Art-full members-only afternoon at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, where we’ll experience the highly anticipated Krasner and Pollock: Past Continuous through an intimate, privately guided tour—preceded by an optional brunch at The Mark Restaurant by Jean-Georges.
Bringing together more than 120 works, the exhibition offers a fascinating new perspective on Lee Krasner and Jackson Pollock, moving beyond their famous marriage to reveal two ambitious artists constantly experimenting, evolving, and responding to the changing world around them.
Pollock’s revolutionary approach made him an icon of Abstract Expressionism, while Krasner forged a compelling—and remarkably resilient—artistic path of her own. Seen together, their paintings, drawings and collages reveal unexpected connections, creative tensions and striking differences, while giving Krasner’s work the space and attention it has long deserved.
With crowd favorite Helen Lee leading the conversation, we’ll go beyond the gallery labels to uncover the influences, turning points and artistic choices behind the work. Expect fresh perspectives, deeper context and plenty to discuss long after we leave the galleries.
For those joining the full experience, we’ll begin over brunch at The Mark Restaurant by Jean-Georges, an elegant Upper East Side setting just moments from the museum—giving us time to connect, catch up and ease into an art-filled afternoon together.
