Join arts-based social networking community, Women of Culture, for a deep dive into the art of photography with professional photographer, writer, and photojournalist Mira Zaki, whose work has been featured in The New York Times, Travel+ Leisure, The Travel Channel, Cosmopolitan and Vanity Fair, among other publications. Advance registration required here.
At its core, Mira believes photography is truly about the art of seeing and that we all have the ability to take great photographs, if we learn to see. She has recently launched an online course all about taking better smartphone photography and will be sharing some of her tips and tricks to take better photos with whatever camera you have.
She will also give us a sneak peek into her own photography process and tell us more about her work as a travel photographer and photojournalist who is committed to making a positive impact through her work.
This session will be a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in learning more about the art of photography, more fully seeing the world and taking better photographs, for work or pleasure. As with all of our virtual connection sessions, there will also be time to connect with the community and get to know the fellow attendees.
It is being offered on a sliding scale with limited comp tickets to the first 5 people. Please give what you can to keep these sessions going. All registrants will receive the zoom call-in info on their receipt and a recording will be made available afterwards.
