Your Weekend Itinerary

Friday, Sept 5 | The Kick-Off: Private Collection Visit + Welcome Dinner

We begin the weekend with an extraordinary opening: a visit to the private collection of Susan & Michael Hort, housed in their stunning Tribeca townhouse. Widely regarded as one of the most important private contemporary art collections in the U.S., the Horts are known for championing emerging artists early in their careers.

  • 6:30 PM | Collection Visit (153 Hudson St)

    • Open house format (6–8 PM), but we’ll attend together as a group at 6:30pm

    • Suggested $20 donation to the Rema Hort Mann Foundation, supporting both cancer patients and rising artists (to be made separately, on-site)

    • View the latest installation in an intimate setting rarely accessible to the public

  • 7:45 PM | Member Dinner at Locanda Verde (377 Greenwich St)

    • Ticket includes one appetizer or one alcoholic beverage per guest

Saturday, Sept 6 | The Armory Show Edit + Rooftop Brunch

Saturday is dedicated to The Armory Show, New York’s answer to Art Basel and the epicenter of the international contemporary art world each September. With hundreds of galleries on view, the fair can be overwhelming — but we’ll curate the experience for you.

  • 11:30 AM | Rooftop Brunch at Electric Lemon (33 Hudson Yards, 24th floor)

    • A sunlit rooftop with sweeping views of the city

    • Enjoy a refined brunch while discussing trends in the contemporary art market

  • 1:30 PM | Curated Walkthrough of The Armory Show (Javits Center, 429 11th Ave.)

    • Explore some of the fair’s most exciting presentations

    • Gain insights into market trends and artists-to-watch

    • Navigate the fair together rather than alone

  • Optional | 2:30 PM Champagne Bar Gathering

    • Re-group for further discussion at the fair’s lively champagne bar

Sunday, Sept 7 | The Closing Chapter: Art on Paper + Boho Brunch

We close the weekend with one of Armory Week’s hidden gems: the Art on Paper Fair, celebrated for its innovative and boundary-pushing presentations centered on the versatile medium of paper.
