Harmony & Dissonance: An Afternoon of French Art & Food on the UES | 1/26

from $75.00

Experience a day of artistry and elegance on Sunday, January 26th with a private guided tour of the Guggenheim’s latest exhibit led by crowd favorite Helen Lee and paired with a delightful French brunch beforehand.

Displayed throughout the museum’s iconic rotunda, Harmony and Dissonance: Orphism in Paris, 1910–1930 brings together over 90 vibrant works of abstract art from the transnational movement of Orphism. Join us to immerse yourself in kaleidoscopic compositions that highlight the transformative possibilities of color, form, and motion. The exhibition delves into the interplay of dance, music, and poetry, revealing how modern life radically reshaped artistic conceptions of time and space in the early 20th century.

Featuring masterpieces by luminaries like Robert and Sonia Delaunay, Marcel Duchamp, František Kupka, and more, the exhibit showcases the bold innovations of Orphism. And we’ll have the chance to experience it all with the incomparable Helen Lee.

Art-full members are also invited to make the most of the afternoon by joining for a delicious brunch at Table d’Hote before the tour.

This is a great event for anyone who enjoys color, form, motion, dance, music or poetry — as well as French food and culture!

Capacity is limited, so make sure to sign up now for an inspiring afternoon of art & culture — and the chance to bond with fellow art-full women along the way.
