Join us on Saturday, October 19th for a vibrant afternoon of creativity and connection at the Meadow, a beautiful and serene new studio in DUMBO!

The brainchild of writer, educator and expressive arts therapist Julie Flynn Badal, the Meadow is a community-based expressive arts studio that offers creative arts workshops for all ages and hosts special events and gatherings for friends, family groups and professional organizations.

In this relaxing weaving workshop complete with light refreshments, and soothing ambient music, you will learn six different basic weaving stitches on a gorgeous new hand loom.

A beautifully decorated craft table will set the stage for a delightful experience, allowing you to bond with fellow participants and create a stunning handmade piece.

No weaving experience or artistic skill is required— the workshop is geared to help those without any prior knowledge learn the basic skills fall in love with the art of weaving in a welcoming and pressure-free environment.

To provide even more opportunity for connection, we'll kick off the afternoon with a delicious member's brunch overlooking the city at Cecconi’s in the architectural gem that is the Empire Stores.

All tickets include the 2-hour weaving workshop with light refreshments. Full experience tickets also include 1 brunch item, 1 non-alcoholic beverage and tax/tip at brunch.
